The MAS Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT), is MAS’ very own public training institute that brings exceptional facilities and infrastructure, including a fully equipped auditorium with a capacity to seat 300 people, 17 training rooms including labs for training in English language, BPO training, Information Technology and Textile Processing, with residential facilities for up to 250 people. MIMT also boast of fully fledged catering facilities in addition to numerous recreational activities which range from conventional sports like basketball to adventure based activities such as kayaking and rock climbing

In January 2009 the MAS Institute of Management & Technology (Pvt) Limited (MIMT) partnered with Borderlands Sri Lanka (Pvt) Limited in a unique venture to promote Adventure Based Experiential Learning at the MAS Fabric Park, Thulhiriya, Sri Lanka.

Borderlands MIMT provides custom designed courses in adventure education, which offer a wealth of support, activities, resources and experience. The aim of these programs are to develop skills both socially and academically, in a unique and safe learning environment, thus ensuring an experience that will both broaden their educational base, as well as impact students for many years to come.
