A shallow reef and some fantastic rock formations will be the scenery for your SCUBA diving adventure.

As an official PADI Dive Center, Ocean Safari by Borderlands offers all the range of PADI courses, from Open Water Divers to professional Divemaster. Our Sports Center, right on Turtle Bay, just out of Weligama town, has an extensive range of SCUBA gear in excellent condition for all sizes (including children, who can enjoy breathing underwater from the age of 8).

So if you want to learn SCUBA diving or improve your skills, you’ve come to the right place.

If you don’t have time for a full course, or you’re just not sure you’ll like it, we also offer a Discover Scuba Diving program, or try dive (1 day, 1 swimming pool session, 1 dive in the sea), which will give you an idea about what to expect from a full course.

Certified divers will enjoy swimming amongst beautiful rock formations, whereas beginners will find the beach a nice place to relax after a long day of studying.

And if you are into wreck diving, we can take you all the way to Galle to dive two famous wrecks: the SS Rangoon and the SS Orestes.

Our team includes Antonio, a PADI Instructor (MSDT #355965) and Sachith, a Sri Lankan divemaster. They both have international experience as dive pros and love to share their passion for diving.

Courses can be given in English, French, Spanish. Special discount for professional divers: 10% Special offer for 5 Fun dives: 260 $

You’ll find all the programs with the prices below. For courses that are not displayed here (Specialties, Rescue Diver, EFR, Master Scuba Diver and Divemaster) please contact us at [email protected]
